A living record of craft knowledge.

Every entry is written and owned by the artisan or their cooperative, and the story behind each one is free to read. The working knowledge — full technique, materials, pattern meanings — opens with an Amussu Learn subscription or a one-off purchase, and 60% goes to the artisans and cooperatives whose knowledge it is. Institutions can license the whole archive.

When an artisan documents their technique here, they are not giving it away. They are making it visible — and being paid when someone learns from it. Knowledge that is undocumented disappears when the person who holds it is gone. Knowledge that is documented can be claimed, protected, passed on, and paid for.
